Sign up for a workshop and
you're eligible to receive a new Lowepro backpack. At the end of the year one
workshop participant will receive the bag by having your photo from a trip judged
to be the best from all other participants. Judging will be done by an outside
non-objective photographer.

2009 PHOTO WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Feb. 18 - 21 $1,595 Scout trip being done in December after I move to Texas. Will use a top boat guide to take us to the best shooting locations.

DEPOSITS - A $300 deposit will hold a space with balance due 45 days prior to trip. If a deposit is received and the trip is filled, it will be returned and the you will be placed on a waiting list and notified if an opening occurs.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - Upon receipt of notice you are unable to participate on a trip refunds are subject to the following fee structure - $150 for more than 60 days notification; $300 between 30 and 60 days, 50% of cost between 15 and 30 days and no refund within 15 days of trip. If a program is canceled full refunds will be made. Fees are based on reservations made for accommodations and ground transportation. Travel insurance is recommended (see link on the links page for comparative rate information).
ACCOMMODATIONS - Lodging will be at AAA approved accommodations (double occupancy) where available. Single occupancy rooms when requested will require an additional fee based upon a hotels current rates. Also, if a roommate is not available you will be required to pay the single supplement fee.
COSTS - Price includes accommodations, ground transportation and meals. Not included are items of a personal nature including alcoholic beverages. Prices are quoted as part of a package and no refunds are given for unused services. Because some trips include photographing wildlife, First Light can't be held liable if subjects stated are not available for photographing. Wildflower and fall color trips are scheduled at typical peak times but weather conditions may cause conditions to not be ideal. Indoor presentations will be given on most trips.
TRIP SIZE - All trips are limited to six people maximum. Because of this, it's recommended you sign up early to can ensure having a spot. Trip sizes are kept small so participants can get as much hands-on help as they wish. Rocky Mountain region trips can be run with one person but those to Alaska must have at least three people and overseas trips must have four.
FLIGHT AND TRAVEL SCHEDULE - Try to arrange your flights to arrive early on the arrival date and depart late on the final day as we try to do some excursions the first evening and then again on the morning of the final day.
