Optimizing your Photography and Post-Processing Techniques for Large Prints

Skill Level - Intermediate and above

Teacher - Gary Gray

Course Description

Perhaps you have some photographs that you want to make prints of, only the prints are bigger than what your inkjet printer will handle. Maybe, you're looking to put a few shots in a gallery and those images to have a professional touch. Making large prints can be expensive. Learn to get the most from your camera and your computer and make those images suitable for printing big.

Aimed at the experienced amateur or professional photographer, this course will teach you the finer points of photography that will make your photographs stand out on large format prints. We're talking 11 X 14 inch prints and larger.

Not all photographs are the same. What looks goon on small print or on a computer screen may not necessarily turn into a nice print at 24 X 36 inches. Selling and displaying large prints requires advanced technical and compositional skills and this course will teach those skills. In addition, if you're thinking of investing in a higher class of printer for your own personal use, you'll want to understand what makes a good print and what doesn't before you start wasting expensive ink and paper on trial and error.
