With all five life zones, Colorado has more types of wildflowers than any other state. This trip is based out of Ouray and features several of the top wildflower spots in the country - Yankee Boy Basin and American Basin - as well as several other great wildflower spots. In addition to the wildflowers, a unique mining ghost towns will be visited.

Learn a variety of new techniques to take your photography to the next level. Explore the use of mylar, water glass, panning and zooming to create wildflower abstract photos you never before thought possible.

You will use your photographic eye to look at things in a completely different way than you have before and you can take these new techniques to other subjects well after this trip.

Find out about new close-up photography techniques that will allow you to explore the intricate beauty found deep within an individual flower. Besides going deep within an individual flower, enjoy fields of flowers with great mountain backdrops, flowers and waterfalls, and flowers and a stream.
