Oregon Coast Photo Workshop

$1,945

Flight Destination: Portland, OR

A wide variety of subjects await on this trip. Low tides will allow for tide pool photography of sea stars, anemones, sea urchins and more. Some of the strongest low tides of the year at this time will make for some of the best tidepooling you'll ever see. Other subjects include photographing sea stacks, lighthouses and fishing harbors. We'll also visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium where great puffin and sea otter photos can be taken.

Time will be split between Port Orford and Newport. While in Port Orford two of the top sunset locations on the Pacific Coast will be visited, Bandon Beach and the Cape Blanco Lighthouse.

In addition to these two settings, a misty morning sunrise at Port Orford and a drive to Gold Beach will be included.

The drive north to Newport will include several stops including Charleston Harbor, Heceta Head lighthouse and several other locations.

Once in Newport a couple of tidepool areas await as well as the Yaquina Lighthouse and the Yaquina Bay Bridge.

A visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium is a must-see spot on the Oregon Coast as its puffin enclosure is the best in the country. Coinciding with feeding time, great behavior and actions shots are pretty much guaranteed.
