and the French Riviera. What a great combo for an unforgettable travel photography
workshop starting with four nights in Nice and finishing up with five nights in
Paris, the City of Lights. All along the way incredible sites will be visited
including the medieval town of Eze, Monte Carlo, the gardens at Versailles, St.
Paul de Vence and more. |
While in Nice we will take day trips to Eze / Monte Carlo as well as to Gourdon / Loup Gorges / Tourrouttes. In Nice the main sights are a very popular street market, Old Town, Castle Hill, Mt. Boron and the Russian Cathedral. While in Monte Carlo, we will visit the Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium that was the base for Jacques Cousteau for many years. Several stops will show off the beautiful waters of the Côte d'Azur - the azure coast. |  |
| Included in the price of the trip will be the train ride from Nice to Paris. Once in Paris it's one memorable spot after another. Many of the sights we see during the day, we will revisit at night to capture the essence of The City of Lights. We will also take a train on Sunday to the Palace of Versailles where the Grand Fountain does it's weekly display in the afternoon. The flower gardens here are unmatched by any anywhere else. Because we are here all day, participants will also be treated to a tour of the palace. In Paris, part of one day will be set aside for a visit to the Louvre. While photography is not allowed inside, who can go to Paris and not visit one of the most famous museums in the world? Four of the five nights will be spent doing night photography of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomph and several other spots. During the day, these spots as well as Rue Cler, Le Marais, Rodin Museum, the Opera House and Place des Vosges will be photographed. Street scenes of corner cafes are a must in a city that has one at just about every corner. |
