The best word to describe Bosque is WOW. Sunrise and thousands of birds taking flight at once is a sight to behold. One of the top birding locations in the country, Bosque is noted for its gathering of snow geese and sandhill cranes. Other animals include hawks, kestrels, coyotes, roadrunners and other waterfowl. Some
of the most incredible lighting at both sunrise and sunset can be found here and
the opportunity with a pure orange sky before sunrise and thousands of birds makes
for a sight and photo well worth the trip. Tips will also be provided on using
flash well before sunrise to create some unique images as well. |
